How are the courses organised? - COURSES SUSPENDED For 2018

  • all courses are individually designed to suit your personal needs????
  • you decide how many hours of lessons per day and how many weeks you wish to study
  • you're assessed at the beginning to determine your level of English and how we can help you to develop
  • you'll get an Attendance Certificate at the end of the course
  • we'll review your progress throughout and make changes and suggestions to help you progress
  • formal learning is usually in the mornings after breakfast, with a short break, and then continues until lunchtime
  • you'll continue to practise English in the afternoon with a teacher in an informal way - walking, going to the beach, shopping, watching English TV or DVDs, listening to English radio
  • you will enjoy an organised activity with other native speakers for example, lunch, dinner party, drinks in a bar, etc. as part of the immersive experience
  • you'll eat your meals with the teachers and other house guests giving you lots of opportunity to practise your English skills in a relaxed and informal enviroment

What is taught on the course?

  • courses focus on communication - either for business or everyday English
  • the four major skills in language learning are practised extensively:
    • reading selected course books, newspaper articles, online material
    • writing emails, letters, academic essays
    • listening to course and authentic material, face to face and phone conversations
    • speaking in presentations, negotiations, discussions, everyday situations, asking and answering questions
  • grammar and pronunciation help students to increase their accuracy and clarity in communication

We understand that you are busy people so our courses are very flexible to suit your needs. You can book a short weekend course of 2, 3 or 4 days. Week courses are from Sunday to Saturday, for 1 to 4 weeks. The price is calculated per night, and by the number of hours of lessons.

Step 1: send us your request by email: dates, number of people and number of hours of lessons and we will send you a quotation immediately.

Step 2: if you accept the quotation, complete the application form and we will send you an invoice and agreement form.

Step 3: on receipt of a 50% deposit from you, we will send you a course confirmation.
